Anyway, I had myself a terrific weekend that will go down in history as one of the most unforgettable weekends of my life. Along with living the dream, I had the opportunity to interact with two publicists of two different comedic stars: Broken Lizard and Bo Burnham.
The Broken Lizard publicist did an excellent job representing her employers by sending me an email chock full of personal information so I could prepare myself for an interview with them. She was very punctual, honest and genuinely caring. When I arrived on the set to interview the group, they acted the same as well. It was excellent representation!
Bo Burnham's publicist however was very short and demanding with her requests. She also replied to emails at random times and bailed on our scheduled interview together. It was HORRIBLE representation.
Its very interesting to see how a person's/company's publicist represents them as the person/company they actually are. It really affects their reputation and credibility.
